The map on the left shows the upper Colorado River Basin (CRB).

The USGS is measuring meteorological parameters at three sites in the CRB (red/pink squares) and one site in theĀ  Missouri River Basin (white square).

The USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) is measuring snow water content and snow depth at SNOTEL sites (black dots).

The meteorological data and SNOTEL data will be used as input to models that are being developed to estimate sublimation across the CRB.
