• Objectives:
  Determine the quality of shallow ground-water underlying wheat crop areas.
  

• Approach:
  
  Install and collect samples from 30 wells randomly located in wheat crop areas east of Denver.

• Timing:
  
  Site selection and well installation occurred in 2003. Sampling for targeted physical and chemical data occurred in Summer 2003.

• Targeted Physical and Chemical Data:
  
  Physical parameters, nutrients, pesticides, organic carbon, trace elements,
  major ions, ground-water age.
