The Blue River Watershed, located in the Rocky Mountains 50 miles west of Denver, Colorado, has seen rapid development and population growth in recent years. As part of the Blue River watershed retrospective assessment program, the USGS is compiling existing water-quality data from various agencies and individuals. This water-quality data provides information that allows interested citizens and water and land managers to evaluate both current and historical quality of surface water and ground water within the watershed. The appropriate links below retrieve site summaries or water-quality data for various sites throughout the basin.
